I know it is short notice but I am happy to announce we will have our 2nd breakfast and book review on Sunday May 26, 2024 at 10:30am at the shul.

The book is titled ELUSIVE DREAMS, Letters to Zion by Dr. Ronnie Miller.

In the 1920's many Georgian Jews made the life altering decision to move to Palestine. This is the story of the challenges and disappointments the group encountered.

His academic interests lie in political and social history and he has conducted research and published books on Canadian foreign policy regarding the Middle East.

As an educator and school principal, Miller has provided consultancy services to numerous private schools across Canada on various educational matters. He enjoys facilitating seminars and conferences on education issues, and has carried out this work across Canada and the United States. 

A $5.00 donation at the door to cover breakfast will be greatly appreciated.
